Why don't you want to study? Why should I study?

I've been home for the last few days. At home in the morning and in the afternoon, all I see is my little brother and cousin, my parents, uncles, and aunts are going to read. Not even in Maar Khainaye. But the question is why this bakabaki? Why is that the case? Why don't the little boys and girls of class 4-5 want to study?

I have been thinking about these things since morning. That's when the first question came to mind. And the second question came to think about it.

I called my younger brother Hridoy and Akash and asked them if they wanted to read them. I asked them why they study and why they have to study.

The cousin was completely silent. Everyone talks about reading. I thought I was talking too. My younger brother wisely said that my mother's dream is to become a doctor-engineer. My mother told me to study so I am reading. But none of them really know why reading is important! Why read in life!

I was surprised to realize that a student in our society does not even know why he is studying. From an early age, we are taught to study. We can't even continue to study. Another interesting thing is that we do not know what the study really is. So we read like parrots. We read textbooks. There may be something to know without textbooks. In the same way that we don't think it, our elders don't believe it.

 

This can also be called a strange definition. If we read anything other than academic subjects, it will no longer be considered as reading by this definition.

The definition of our country seems even more frightening to me. Looking at the state of education in our country, it seems that reading means reading textbooks with eyes closed. Whether it is acquiring knowledge or not, passing the exam well is the study. Getting a little bad results means not studying. And reading books other than textbooks can be called a great injustice. Anyway, I will write about it later.

 

If Hossain Chamak: Studying is compulsory, so I don't want to study either. Think about one thing what will happen after studying so much. The trouble is over if you somehow survive and die. I understood and accepted that education is necessary for a good job or a transparent life. Or to increase wealth. But he who has more wealth will have more in the Hereafter. I am not in favor of such a life. I am a very ordinary student. BUET Medical students will see that they are a little arrogant and do not look at others with good eyes. But I mingled with everyone. I think it's important to use it well before you can be a good person. But do you know one thing? The thing that forces me to do that is less focus. For example my studies. And again, this would mean that you have to spend on these processes. For example my literary practice.

Hasin Mahjabeen: Some say that studying is another way to increase knowledge, some say that studying is just to get a degree, some say that they study for a good job, others study for fear that they will not be respected in society.

The fact is that no one loves to study in this world!

In fact, studying in our country is mainly for a good job. I will not deny that I need to study for a job. But a primary school, high school kid needs to think about how acceptable this job is. We tell a primary school kid that if you don't read, nothing will happen in life, you will be lying on the street, your whole life is in vain. He was beaten, forcibly sent to school, and given a few masters to study. An arrangement was made to read day and night by routine. He keeps turning like the wheels of a car. He has no definition of education. He doesn't know what he wants. Even if one understands something, that thought is quickly crushed by the pressure of the book, the pressure of reading.

The study and knowledge around us are very complicated. We don't want to know anything but textbooks. There is no question between us now. I asked many questions to the people around me. I asked so many strange things around that the question does not arise in my mind? Do not want to know about these? Watch TV all day. I don't think the question is what is the TV thing? Talk on mobile, there is no question about it. Write with a pen in the notebook, the question does not arise how to actually read the ink with it? Playtoy car, don't think about how that car works? So much work with the calculator, the question is not how it actually adds and subtracts?

No, they have no questions. They do not know this. Think. There is no time to think. You have to think about all this, they have not read it in any book. They just have to read the textbooks that have been inserted in their heads. Why study? For the job, to survive the gossip of mother and father. To be first in class.
